Bon Jour. I am in lust with the silver/grey color the model on the front of this year’s education book and I looking to re-create it on a model for vlog we are doing at our salon. I was hoping you could help me with the formulation. She is a full level 10 and I plan to clean her canvas further before we do anything else. I await your reply with breath that is baited. Thank you. Hey there Tara.
The Silver is HOT! I know. What makes it special and POP! are the fine slices of black that sit underneath. This sort of blonding is tricky, but possible. This particular was done on a natural high blond level 8 and we used our new High Lift 11 Series 2+1 11SV. and Silk Lift Strong and 20 volume in a back to back foil alternating pattern. However, in any case, you need to get the canvas clean enough and even first. once you achieve the lightest level of blonding, apply Goldwell Structure Equalizer spray to dry hair and then with Goldwell Colorance Mild Alkaline try my favorite formula of 40mls Colorance Intensive Lotion 10mls 10BS,5mls Clear,3mls 8AS,2mls P Mix. This will have enough alkalinity to squash the warmth and then give you a clean silver. PS>>>Remember that the blond needs to be clean but not over bleached and stressed. Though the Mild Alkaline is my fav, there are also a couple of others if there is still yellow, 20mls 20vol. 20mls H2O, 18mls 10A 2mls 6A, or Elumen if it is waaaayyyy clean, 40mls CLEAR, 10mls AB@9, 2mls NA@2...Test out your favorite "finish" on some wefts, as these are a bit tricky and you will be FAB!!!!! Enjoy and hit me up anytime! j
