Hi John loved your class in Memphis. I have an older lady XL 5A with lvl 4gish LL and really bad lv 8/9 brassy, gold highlights. She is less 24% grey. Im going to do her base and ends via compact foils from the class. She “Hates RED and Orange”. Id like to soften base up to between 5/6 B controlled! and bring HL down to a 7 and try and diffuse some of the darker LL. Heres what Im thinking: NG: 25 vol/15CC 5N/25cc 6SB or std N/B and A diffuse LL w/40 vol and BC w/7mb fill H/L with gold pre-pig and then 10 vol 7/gb & 7/n or I can just do an overlay after I do NG and diffuse darker areas. Im basically doing “basement” hair right now while looking for a salon thats a good fit as Ive recently moved to another state. Your opinion would be great as I dont have my “security blanket” and dont want to make her an ugly mess. She has warm eyes and warm/olive skin. Thank you

Hey there!
I am so happy you enjoyed the program! It was a great day with a great group! I know you traveled far, though I am so happy you enjoyed!
You are on the right track, and I am so excited with the color thought process.
The base at 5N 6SB combo is great, I would add 5mls of 6BG to make it a :cool" neutral.
I think the diffusion of 40vol,BC and 7MB is a right on high, with then the old level 9 highs being pre filled with a 3 to 1 gold would be key, though instead of the "N" low with 10vol, try 7BG and 7MB 15 BG 5 MB.
Finish everything off with a Colorance 40mls lotion 15mls 10BS 5mls 8GG
I am so tickled that you are thinking on a "new" level!
Let me know how it goes!
Remember that the Pre Pig should be driven by the comb and the hair should be saturated, though dry to the touch, more is not always better!
