Hi John, My colourist prelightened my hair to a level 7 (natural is around a 4) and it came up really orangey-yellow. She put a level 7 ash on top, then a level 6 ash on top, and though it is much better, it still has orange/yellow undertones, and I wanted it a light ash brown, no red/orange/yellow at all. I like it almost grey brown. She uses Goldwell colours, could you please tell me what you would do in this situation so I can give her an exact formula to use? We are getting nowhere! Thanks so much. Hey there, and sorry for the delay!
First have her get the hair past a level 7, or to perform a Goldwell Syatem Color Remover Service. Then a favorite Neutral Brown is first time
Goldwell Topchic 40mls 20vol 20mls 7MB,10mls 7SB,10mls 7BG.
Then on the new hair, as a retouch, have her change the developer to a 30 vol.
You may be already there, but I hope this works,
